Raw Material(Billets)

We use high-quality imported and locally produced billets.

Reinforcement Bars

We produce grade 60 and grade 75 rebar ranging from 8 mm-24mm.

Wire rod

Steely RMI P.L.C is a pioneer in Ethiopia’s steel industry in the production of wire rod products ranging from 5.5 mm to 14 mm diameter.

Galvanized Wire

We produce high-quality galvanized wire from a zinc coated steel wire.

Mesh wire

Our mesh wire products are preferred for agricultural fencing and security enclosures.

Barbed wire

Our barbed wire products have uniform, sharp barbs.

Normal nails and roofing nails

Our high-quality nails are available in sizes from 3 cm to 15 cm for general use; and 7 cm nails specifically designed for roofing.

Binding Wire

Our flexible & smooth binding wire is available from ⌀1.5mm - ⌀4mm .

Gas Products

Our air separation plant (ASP) produces gases including argon (Ar) & nitrogen (N₂) & oxygen (O₂) with purity level of 99.6% - 99.99%.

Packaging Products

We've a packaging plant with a total production capacity of 18 million units of packaging products per year.

Steely RMI P.L.C currently operates a diverse industrial portfolio with significant annual capacities.

Including rolling mills producing 620,000 MT of grade 60 & 75 reinforcement bars (8mm-24 mm diameter), wire processing producing 150,000 MT of wire rod (5.5mm-14mm diameter), a melting plant with 287,000 MT capacity, an industrial gas plant producing 87,600 bottles, a packaging unit producing 8 million packaging products, an air separation plant (ASP) producing 2.6 million bottles of Oxygen, Nitrogen & Argon, and an MDF facility with a capacity of 110,000m³ per annum.

Work Process

Quality Raw Materials & Production

High-quality billets and scrap steel are carefully selected. Molten steel is processed in advanced furnaces and cast into billets or rods.

Rolling & Forming

Steel billets and rods are rolled into reinforcement bars (RMI) and wire products. Each product is inspected for strength, size, and quality standards.

Packaging & Delivery

Finished steel is securely packaged, stored, and delivered to construction sites. Customer support ensures guidance and timely delivery for every project.
