01. What is the minimum order quantity (MoQ)?

The minimum order quantity (MOQ) varies depending on the product category.

    • For rebar and/or wire rod, the minimum order quantity is 10 metric tons.
    • For wire processing products including normal nails, roofing nails, mesh wire, barbed wire, binding wire, galvanized wire, and gabion wire, the minimum order quantity is 5 metric tons, which may consist of a combination of these products.

To issue a Proforma Invoice or process transaction, the following documents and information are required:

    • An official Purchase Request (Purchase Order or Request Letter);
    • Valid Trade License and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for business organizations, or a valid Construction License for non-profit organizations, where applicable; and
    • The required product type(s) and quantities

As long as the requirements are fulfilled, you do not need to come in person to get a proforma invoice from Steely RMI PLC. You can request it remotely by contacting the marketing team via our telegram account (+251 957 10 10 10), our email (marketing@steelyrmiplc.com) or by uploading scanned version of the purchase request and required documents to our website. The marketing team will prepare and send the proforma invoice to you electronically.

Our products are dispatched directly from our main production facilities.

    • Rebars, Wire Rods, Carton Products, and Gas Products: loaded from the Bishoftu production site.
    • Nail Products: loaded from the Jacros, Addis Ababa production site.

Other Wire-Processed Products: loaded from either the Bishoftu or Jacros, Addis

To load products from the factory site, customers are required to provide valid Dispatch Note, the Sales Invoice and the truck’s plate number and the driver’s full name.

Steely RMI PLC accepts payment exclusively through account-to-account bank transfers. Payments must be made within the validity period of the proforma invoice or based on confirmation from the company’s finance or sales department. This ensures that the order is processed promptly and securely.

Yes, our products adhere to strict quality standards. Products such as rebars, which are subject to mandatory regulatory standards, are manufactured in full compliance with these requirements. Other products, including wire rods, mesh, nails, and packaging materials, are produced under the company’s “Zero Defect” quality policy, ensuring the highest level of consistency, durability, and performance for all customers.
